9/3/97 - PacBell has a prerecorded message for trouble reports in our area saying there was a "cable failure" and that everything should be fixed by 9/4/97 6:00pm. Internet access has been restored, but 25% of the modem lines are still down so you're more likely to get a busy signal. Everything should be back to normal by Friday. 9/1/97 - PacBell cross connected all incoming lines, regular lines, modem lines, and T1 line. T1 is now operational and they're working on the rest. For temporary access try 258-0469, 258-4205, 258-7718, or 258-7912. Sorry for the inconvenience.
